KPFT Living Art Interview: "River on Fire", at DiverseWorks Sept. 27-Nov. 16, 2024

Super pleased to be included in an entire hour-long radio talk dedicated to the upcoming exhibition “River on Fire”, curated by Ashley DeHoyos Sauder, on view at DiverseWorks in Houston this coming fall. Hosted by Michael Woodson, KPFT’s “Living Art” show discusses all things thoughtful and creative going on in the Bayou City. On Wednesday July 31, we talked about climate change, industrial pollution, and ways artists are confronting these issues and working towards solutions.

Many many thanks to Michael, Ashley, and fellow artists Joe Robles IV and Ayanna Jolivet McCloud for sharing their time and inspiring ideas! Thanks also to KPFT 90.1fm Houston for so many decades of hosting great and challenging conversations - and for archiving these programs! Grateful to have been able to download a copy, which can be listened to below.
