artificial heart bags

Created from salvaged materials, hand stitched and embroidered in Houston, TX with two awesome and mighty Brother embroidery machines. Each bag is an entirely unique work of wearable art, layered with ideas and impressions, imprinted with the history of the material from which it’s made. The collection changes regularly, according to what fabric I find.

Waco Bag

$200.00

Another of my roomy bucket bags with long, thick crossbody straps, pockets and loads of crazy details. Made from a cast-off pair of charcoal grey lightweight reinforced denim, it’s freehand machine-stitched with east-central Texas geography references. Inside there is pine green satin left over from my mother’s fabric stash, accompanied by awesomely strange animal-printed upholstery fabric. Look for the hidden details! And yup, your laptop will be safe in there. Only one of these will be made.

16” tall x 16” wide x 4.5” deep. Straps 38”
