"Boxo 10x10" exhibition opens November 19
I’m proud to announce my participation in Boxo 10 x 10, a survey exhibition of works by 10 artists who have resided at BoxoProjects, a contemporary art and artist residency program located in Joshua Tree, California. On view November 19 through December 31, the exhibition commemorates Boxo’s first decade, featuring indoor and outdoor installations, along with a range of public programs scheduled through the run of the show.
Join us for the opening event Saturday, November 19, from 12-6pm, which includes a panel discussion at 2:30pm moderated by Mara Gladstone, Deputy Director Head of Programs at Desert X.
I credit the launch of my seven-year motorcycle journey and art venture In Search of the Frightening and Beautiful to Boxo, as the idea for the project evolved out of an invitation to reside there in 2013. It is a gross understatement to say that the residency was fundamentally life-altering. I’m looking forward to celebrating this.
