was a long-distance motorcycle journey and nomadic art project. On the road I took pictures and recorded experiences, leaving hand-stitched works of art in people's hands or in the landscape in a spirit of exchange. From these travels emerged bodies of artwork: embroideries, paintings, drawings, photographs, written works and more.
From 2013 - 2020, the journey covered nearly 40,000 miles, venturing through 14 countries, where I left 47 pieces of myself out in the world, to change hands, contexts and meaning.
Conceived through the act of riding a motorcycle, this venture embraced risk and vulnerability to record and testify to the "frightening and beautiful" - to the coincidences, contradictions and struggles underlying the essence of human experience.
